Night Fision goes a different route with a patented injection-molded sleeve that locks the tritium vials in place and forms a brighter, tougher ring around them. That orange front ring also carries daytime-fluorescent material, so it stays easy to pick up in bright sun and then hands off to the tritium once the sun drops. The domed lens over the vial focuses the glow into a crisp, defined dot instead of a soft blur.
