EXCELLENT Based on 1529 reviews Posted on Robert RhodesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. You would never expect to find a nice store with such a large selection of good quality goods in the middle of nowhere like Alexander's in Blairsville. Men's, women's and children's clothing along with shoes, furniture, home decorations, fishing & hunting goods including a large selection of guns and rifles. It is a destination stop if you're in the Blairsville area. It's worth the short drive out just to see this place even if you don't but a thing - but you probably will.Posted on Debbie VTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am going to try and be as fair as possible with this review. We have been going to Alexander's for almost 10 years. We have enjoyed bringing visiting family and friends as well. They all love it. We have enjoyed the wonderful selection of merchandise and the nice employees. They are a wonderful family and play beautiful Christian music while you're shopping. I wish I could say that today's experience was positive. At the counter while checking out, the cashier asked "debit or credit" I replied "credit" because I was using my debit card but bypassing my pin. I was unaware that they charge a fee for use of a credit card. In fairness to Alexander's, it is near the pin pad but very small. When i realized the bottom line was more, I inquired and was told yes because of credit. I wanted to change to debit. The "new" cashier was extremely exasperated and clearly upset and replied "nope, too late". She said she was new and asked for a second opinion to the very nice cashier next to her who confirmed "yes it's too late". I said "okay, I'll leave the items. (There were only 2. A pair of shoes and a small faith child's bracelet). This further exasperated the new cashier. I explained that I would like to pay cash for the child's bracelet. What upset me is that she took the bracelet that she had politely placed into a paper bag so it wouldn't get lost in the larger bag and just threw it towards me onto the counter and said to the other cashier "you're gonna have to help me with this here". At that point I felt I was just wanting to leave. I apologized to both of them for the inconvenience and left without either item. I totally understand that businesses get charged fees for credit usage so those fees need to be recovered, that's not the issue. The issues that I took exception to was the "it's too late to change from credit to debit" and the tossing the bracelet at me across the counter. I left wondering "Is that register permanently down forever because they could not change or cancel the transaction?". I will definitely return because the attitude of one doesn't diminish the establishment as a whole. They are wonderful people. Maybe my next experience will be better.Posted on Craig PetraszewskyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Always a treat to stop in and shop. I recently purchased a suppressor through Alexander’s and wanted to recognize Brad for outstanding customer service. After placing my order, I realized I had selected the SilencerCo Osprey 2.0 9mm instead of the Osprey 2.0 45. Since the .45 version can be used across more calibers, it made more sense for my long-term plans. I was concerned the change might be difficult since the order was already in process. Brad was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He quickly explained my options, coordinated the swap, kept me informed of the status, and followed up with tracking information once the suppressor was shipped to my receiving FFL. What could have been a stressful and expensive mistake turned into a smooth experience thanks to Brad’s professionalism and communication. It’s rare to find customer service that treats your purchase like it’s their own money on the line. If you’re considering purchasing a suppressor, I would not hesitate to do business with Alexander’s again. Excellent customer service, great communication, and a team that genuinely takes care of its customers. Thank you, Brad and the Alexander’s team.Posted on Janet BrockTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
