The Chipmunk Hunter Pistol from Keystone Sporting Arms is a manual cocking, single shot bolt action chambered in .22 WMR, and it strips handgun hunting down to the basics: load one round, cock the metal knob, take your shot, and make it count. The 10.5 inch stainless steel barrel comes threaded 1/2×28 with a protective cap installed, so adding a muzzle device is as simple as spinning off the cap. After closing the bolt on a round, you pull the metal cocking knob at the rear of the action to cock the firing pin. The pistol won't fire until that knob is deliberately pulled back, and the rebounding firing pin stays blocked until the trigger is pressed. It's a simple, positive system that adds an extra step of intent before every shot.
