The FastDot H3 is Hi-Viz's answer for anyone who grew up on iron sights but keeps eyeing the speed of a red dot. Instead of the usual blade-in-a-notch, it runs a circle-within-a-circle setup. As you bring the front sight into line with the rear, the red front dot tucks away behind the rear sight and a glowing green circle takes its place. Hi-Viz calls it "Red No, Green Go," and it's about as intuitive as sighting gets. Green means aligned, so you can confirm your sight picture in a split second and press the trigger.
What makes this work day or night is the combination of fiber optic and encapsulated tritium. The fiber optic pulls in ambient light and glows bright in daylight, while the tritium keeps things lit in the dark with no batteries to swap and nothing to power up. This model (GLFD21) fits all standard Glock pistols chambered in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. It is not the MOS-specific version, so if you have an optics-cut MOS slide you'll want the GLMFD21 set instead. It does not fit 10mm or .45 ACP Glocks.
Installation is like any standard Glock sight swap. You'll need a Glock front sight tool for the front and a sight pusher or brass punch for the rear dovetail. If you don't have the tools, any gunsmith can knock it out quickly, and it's a good idea to confirm your zero at the range afterward.
