This is the next chapter for one of Griffin Armament's most trusted 5.56 suppressors. The Dual-Lok MNG (managed backpressure) AM model is printed in-house on Griffin's own DMLS machines using their proprietary Nickel 625X superalloy, a material that tested roughly 68 percent stronger than additively manufactured Inconel 625 at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit. Put plainly, this can is built to take the kind of heat and firing schedules that wear out lesser suppressors, and Griffin says it's the best performing 5.56 unit they've ever put on a meter.
Inconel 625 has been the go-to alloy for hard use military suppressors for years, and Griffin's 625X powder alloy outperforms it where it counts, at the brutal temperatures generated at the blast baffle. The 3D printed construction also lets Griffin shape internal geometry that traditional machining can't touch, which is how they squeezed more sound and flash reduction out of the design while trimming backpressure. The result is softer recoil, less wear on your rifle, and noticeably less gas blowing back through the action and into your eyes.
The Dual-Lok active-locking mounting system has become a favorite among law enforcement and military users for good reason. It locks up tight with no wiggle, delivers minimal and repeatable point of impact shift, and won't loosen during long strings of fire. There are no ratcheting parts to wear out either, so the system stays solid for the life of the can. It's compatible with the full line of Dual-Lok muzzle devices, minus the over-the-barrel PSR units, and a Dual-Lok EZ-Brake in 1/2×28 comes in the box so you're ready to shoot from day one.
The managed backpressure baffle stack hits a sweet spot between a conventional design and a full low backpressure unit, so you get top-tier sound performance without gassing yourself out. There's no minimum barrel length restriction for rifle calibers, which makes this a great match for short-barreled 5.56 builds as well as full-length carbines. This version wears an all-black finish that looks right at home on a working rifle.
You're covered out of the box. This model ships with a Dual-Lok EZ-Brake muzzle device in 1/2×28 thread pitch plus a silencer pouch. If you want to set up multiple rifles, it also works with the full lineup of Dual-Lok muzzle devices, with the exception of the over-the-barrel PSR models.

No. Griffin puts no barrel length restrictions on Dual-Lok suppressors for rifle calibers, so it's fair game on short-barreled 5.56 builds. Longer barrels will naturally extend service life since they generate less muzzle pressure, but you won't void anything running it short.
It's the middle ground between a conventional baffle stack and a full low backpressure design. The flash hider end cap vents gas peripherally, which softens recoil, cuts down on wear to your rifle, and reduces the gas blowing back at your face. You get excellent sound and flash reduction without the harsh blowback older sealed designs are known for.
