There's no shortage of 1911s out there, but the Girsan MC1911 Negotiator stands apart the moment you open the case. This TALO Edition wears a titanium nitride finish set off by gold accents on the barrel and controls, and the lightening cuts machined into the slide give it a look you won't mistake for anything else on the rack. Underneath the flash is a properly built full-size 1911: forged carbon steel frame and slide, a 5 inch custom carbon steel barrel, and an action that's hand tuned at the factory for a clean trigger pull in the 4 to 5 pound range.
Girsan didn't stop at the finish. The rear sight is fully adjustable so you can dial in your preferred load, and the fiber optic front picks up light fast for quicker sight acquisition. The skeletonized hammer and trigger trim lockwork weight, while the extended beavertail, enlarged grip safety, and checkered front strap keep the pistol planted through a full magazine of .45 ACP. Ambidextrous thumb safeties make it just as friendly for lefties, and front and rear slide serrations give you solid purchase for press checks and racking. A Picatinny accessory rail up front means a light or laser bolts on without any gunsmithing.
At roughly 40 ounces of steel with an 8.75 inch overall length, this pistol soaks up recoil the way a full-size 1911 should. The .45 pushes back, the weight settles it down, and the long sight radius rewards a steady hand. It ships with one 8 round magazine and feeds standard 1911 mags, so stocking up for match day is simple. Girsan has built a strong reputation for delivering well-made 1911s, and EAA backs their products with a limited lifetime warranty. Whether you're stepping into competition or just want a range gun with real presence, the Negotiator delivers the goods without the custom shop price tag.
This is a special distributor edition built on Girsan's match-grade MC1911 platform. It adds the titanium nitride finish with gold accents, lightening cuts on the slide, a hand-tuned action with a 4 to 5 pound trigger, an adjustable rear sight, and a fiber optic front. Think of it as the dressed-up, competition-leaning version of the standard MC1911.
It was designed with match use in mind. The adjustable rear sight lets you zero for your load, the fiber optic front speeds up target transitions, and the tuned trigger breaks clean. The full steel frame and 5 inch barrel also help tame .45 ACP recoil for faster follow-up shots.
Yes. It ships with one 8 round magazine and runs standard single-stack .45 ACP 1911 magazines, so spares are easy to find and affordable. That's one of the perks of Girsan sticking close to the classic 1911 pattern.
It does. The frame includes a Picatinny accessory rail ahead of the trigger guard, so you can mount a weapon light or laser without any modification. That's a feature a lot of traditional 1911s skip.
