Description
Most binary trigger setups start with buying the trigger, then finding a rifle worthy of it, then getting everything installed and tuned. The Fostech Tech-15 Stryker skips all that. This is Fostech's own house-built AR-15 with the Echo AR-II trigger dropped in at the factory, so the whole system is matched from day one. The Echo gives you three settings: safe, standard semi-auto, and Echo mode, where the rifle fires one round on the pull and another on the release. It takes a little practice to get the rhythm down, and once you do, it is genuinely one of the most fun things you can bolt into an AR.
What Makes the Tech-15 Stryker Tick
The foundation here is Fostech's forged and anodized Tech-15 upper and lower receiver set, kept trim and light on purpose. Up front you get a 16 inch KAK Industries barrel with a 1:7 twist that stabilizes the full range of common 5.56 bullet weights, capped with Fostech's Strake muzzle brake to keep the muzzle flat when you're running the trigger fast. The 13 inch Mach 2 M-LOK handguard is free floated and slim enough to get a real grip on, with plenty of slots for a light, sling mount, or hand stop wherever you like them.
Furniture and Feel of the Stryker
Fostech finished this one out with their own Sabre pistol grip and a Mission First Tactical Minimalist six-position stock, a combo that keeps weight down and fits a wide range of shooters. All in, the rifle runs right around six pounds, which you'll appreciate whether it's slung on your shoulder or shouldered for the tenth magazine of the afternoon.
Ready to Run Out of the Box
The Stryker ships in a hard-shell case with one 30 round magazine, and it feeds from standard AR-15 mags, so your existing stash works fine. Add an optic or irons and you're set. For anyone who has been curious about binary fire, this is the cleanest way to get into it: one complete rifle, built by the company that makes the trigger.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Echo AR-II trigger on the Tech-15 Stryker work?
The Echo AR-II is a binary-style trigger with three settings. You get a safe position, a standard semi-auto mode that behaves like any other AR trigger, and Echo mode, which fires one round when you pull the trigger and a second when you release it. You can switch back to plain semi-auto anytime, so you're never locked into binary fire.
Can the Fostech Tech-15 Stryker shoot both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO?
Yes. The chamber handles 5.56 NATO, which means it safely runs both 5.56 and .223 Remington ammunition. The 1:7 twist barrel also stabilizes heavier bullets well, so 62 to 77 grain loads are right at home alongside standard 55 grain range fodder.
Does the Tech-15 Stryker take standard AR-15 magazines?
It does. The rifle ships with one 30 round magazine and feeds from any standard AR-15 pattern mag, including PMAGs, aluminum GI mags, and drums. Whatever you already have in the ammo can should run without issue.
Is this rifle ready to shoot out of the box, or does it need anything?
The Stryker comes fully assembled with the Echo AR-II trigger, muzzle brake, stock, and grip all installed from the factory. The only thing it doesn't include is a sighting system, so plan on adding a red dot, scope, or set of backup irons to the top rail before your first trip out.
