The Lightning name refers to the rounded knob grip and matching rounded fore-end, and it is more than a styling choice. That round grip puts your trigger hand in the same spot every single mount, which pays off when a grouse flushes at your feet or a crossing target comes screaming off the trap. The 26 inch back-bored vent rib barrels keep this gun quick between the hands, and the ivory front bead with a mid-bead gives you a clean, classic sight picture. Chrome-plated 3 inch chambers shrug off the wear that thousands of rounds put on lesser guns, and an Inflex recoil pad takes the sting out of long days at the range.

This 12 gauge model uses the Invector-Plus system and ships with three extended Midas Grade tubes. Invector-Plus tubes are longer than standard Invector and work with Browning's back-bored barrels for improved patterns and reduced felt recoil. Any Invector-Plus choke will fit, so expanding your options down the road is easy.
