Both halves are CNC machined from solid 7075-T6 aerospace aluminum billet at the Berryville, Arkansas shop and hand prepped for a clean surface finish under the black anodizing. Because it ships as a matched pair, the upper and lower are cut to work together with the kind of fitment you don't get piecing parts from different makers.
The lightweight WC-10 upper skips the forward assist for a smooth side profile, which trims ounces and cleans up the look. It runs an undersize bolt raceway for smoother chambering and better recoil behavior, plus more rigid receiver walls to cut down on firing flex when you're chasing tight groups. M4-style extended feed ramps help it feed reliably across a range of loads, and you get a full Picatinny top rail and shell deflector to round it out. The upper alone comes in right around 9.8 ounces.
The billet lower gets an oversize, EDM-cut magazine well that makes reloads fast and fumble-free, along with an integral trigger guard that leaves room for gloved hands and adds a bit of strength. Threaded receiver holes and reamed pin holes keep everything tight, and the hex screw bolt catch retention is a nice touch over roll pins.
