How the PMAG Minus 10 Round Limiter Works

The limiter replaces the lower spring attachment point (what Magpul calls the locking plate) inside your magazine. Just pull off the floorplate, swap in the limiter, and reinstall the floorplate. It takes less than two minutes per mag, and you're done. This design lets the limiter sit between the spring and the magazine body, effectively stopping rounds from loading past the 10-round mark. When you need the full capacity back, you simply remove it and reinstall the original locking plate. The reversible design means zero permanent modifications to your magazines.

Compatibility and Installation

These limiters work in 20 or 30 round Gen M3 PMAG bodies chambered in 5.56×45 NATO and .223 Remington. They're not optimized for the 40-round variant, and they won't fit the 20LR or 308 magazines.
