The Tyrant CNC TD-G48MAGEX-BLK magazine extension was built for people who carry slim Glock pistols but want more firepower without bulking up their gear. It attaches to the base of your 10-round G43X or G48 factory magazine to add 4 rounds of capacity, bringing you from 10+1 to 14+1. The piece is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in subdued matte black.
Tyrant uses what they call retention plunger technology to make this extension slide onto your magazine in under 10 seconds. No special tools, no fussing with tiny tabs, no gun smith work needed. If you ever want to remove it, you just push the plunger down and the base plate slides right back off. Everything comes with a 10% power spring included so your magazines feed and drop consistently from day one.
The added weight from the aluminum construction helps your magazines drop faster and more reliably during reloads. The knurled design on the extension gives your fingers something secure to grab even if your hands are sweating or wet. A lot of carry pistol owners appreciate that the extension also prevents you from pinching your hand between the magwell and magazine during rapid reloads.
