The True Precision TP/22 True Profile barrel is one of the easiest ways to squeeze real accuracy out of a Ruger 10/22 or a True Precision TP/22 receiver. It's machined from SHAW Match Grade 416R stainless blanks with 1/16 broach-cut rifling and a Bentz chamber, which is widely considered the sweet spot for semi-auto .22 LR. That combination gives you clean, consistent engagement across pretty much any rimfire ammo you feed it, from cheap bulk plinking rounds to match-grade target loads.
Instead of a heavy full bull barrel, this one uses a short taper profile that jumps quickly from .920" down to a long, straight .730" section. You get the rigidity and balance benefits of a bull barrel up front without lugging around all that extra weight, and the parallel fluting running the length of the barrel helps shed heat during longer strings. Overall length comes in at 16.10" including the threads, and it tips the scale right around 26.5 oz. The gold PVD finish adds a sharp custom look while giving the steel a little extra protection.
Out front you've got standard 1/2×28 outer threads, which is the go-to pitch for most rimfire suppressors, comps, and flash hiders. It ships with a Viton O-ring secured thread protector, so if you're not running a device the muzzle stays covered and snug. Building a suppressed .22 is exactly where this barrel shines.
Fit is straightforward. It drops into standard tapered barrel channels and works with both Ruger 10/22 and TP/22 receivers, though it's worth noting it is not made for the 10/22 Take-Down variant.
