Trijicon designed the HD Night Sight set to solve a real problem: your front sight getting lost in low light or busy backgrounds. The front sight uses a green tritium lamp ringed by a bright orange photoluminescent outline, so your eye snaps to it immediately whether you're on the range at high noon or clearing a dark hallway. The taller front blade and the blacked-out rear with its wide U-shaped notch work together to speed up sight alignment, letting your focus stay where it belongs.
The green tritium is the star here. It's self-illuminating and needs no batteries or charging, glowing on its own in total darkness and backed by a 12-year warranty from date of manufacture. The rear sight also gets a steeply hooked front face, which gives you a hard edge to catch on a belt, holster, or boot heel if you ever need to rack the slide one-handed. These are real steel sights too, a solid upgrade over the polymer factory sights that ship on most Glocks.
This GL101O set covers a long list of standard-frame models across Gen 1 through Gen 5, including the 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, and 39. Note that this standard HD set is not cut for the MOS optic-ready platform, so double-check your slide before ordering.

The front sight uses a small retaining screw that takes a Glock front sight nut driver, and the rear seats into the dovetail, where a proper sight pusher makes the job clean and easy. Plenty of folks tackle this at home, though a gunsmith can knock it out in minutes if you'd rather leave it to the pros. Once they're on, you've got a fast, rugged sight picture that holds up to serious carry and range time.
