This Timney replacement fixes that in a big way. It swaps out the original unit for a single-stage design with a clean, consistent break and minimal travel, so you can finally shoot the rifle to its potential instead of fighting a gritty five or six pound pull.
This one arrives factory calibrated right around 3 pounds, which is a sweet spot for most hunting and target work straight out of the box. If you want to dial it in, the pull weight adjusts from roughly 1.5 up to about 4 pounds, and it's tunable for sear engagement (creep) and overtravel too. The black curved trigger shoe gives a familiar, comfortable feel, and the whole assembly is built to hold up over the long haul.
