Built by Uberti in Italy and finished off with the Taylor Tuned treatment, this rifle gets a hand-polished action, custom hammer and lever springs, and a custom magazine tube spring. The result is a lever throw that feels broken-in from the first cycle and a lighter overall action that makes fast follow-up work feel effortless.
The 20 inch full octagon barrel gives this rifle that unmistakable period-correct profile while adding just enough weight up front to keep the muzzle steady through a string of shots. Chambered in .357 Magnum, it also feeds .38 Special, which keeps range days affordable and recoil mild. The 10+1 capacity means plenty of rounds in the tube, and the fixed buckhorn rear and blade front sights are simple, rugged, and true to the original design. At 39 inches overall and around 7.9 pounds, it balances nicely between the hands and swings quickly on steel.

Yes. Like most .357 Magnum lever guns, this 1873 will also feed and fire .38 Special, which is a cheaper, softer-shooting option for practice and cowboy action matches. Just keep in mind that switching between the two can leave a carbon ring in the chamber, so give it a good cleaning if you run a lot of .38s before going back to full-power .357.
