The Strike Industries aluminum extended mag plate for the Sig P320 is straightforward gear for anyone running the platform. Drop this on your existing P320 magazines and you'll get five extra rounds on top of what you've already got. It's machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Flat Dark Earth, so it'll hold up to real use without looking beat to hell.
The low-drag, no-snag profile means your magazine won't catch on anything when you're working a reload. At just under 2 ounces, it doesn't add noticeable weight to your mags. The geometry plays well with standard P320 grip modules and works across the 21, 17, and 15-round factory magazines. If you're into USPSA competition, this plate complies with the 140mm rule for both Carry Optics and Open divisions, depending on which magazine body you're running.
Setup involves the extended length spring and steel locking plate included in the box, along with two set screws and a hex tool. This isn't complicated, though Strike recommends having a gunsmith handle the installation if you'd rather not do it yourself. The aluminum construction stands up to routine range drops and the abuse that comes with training. One thing worth knowing: you might need to let the spring break in before you hit the full five-round capacity, especially with some of the older stamped steel magazines. Start with loading sessions and it'll settle in.

The spring included is designed to add five rounds, but due to variations in the stamped steel magazine bodies, you might get +4 initially. Give it some time at the range loading and unloading your mags and the spring will break in to deliver the full capacity. This is normal with any extended spring setup.

Yes, the dimensions comply with USPSA rules. A 21-round magazine with this plate reaches 162.5mm and qualifies for Open Division, while a 17-round mag hits 141mm for Carry Optics and Limited divisions. Just make sure you're checking the current rules for your division before you compete.
