Most optics-ready pistols leave you hunting for a red dot, extra mags, and something to carry it all in. Springfield took care of that here. The XD-M Elite OSP Gear Pac in 10mm ships with a Viridian RFX11 green dot already mounted on the slide, four 15-round magazines, and a pistol bag to haul everything to the range. You pick it up, load up, and get to work.
The 10mm Auto has earned its following for a reason. It shoots flat, hits hard, and covers everything from woods carry and hog hunting to home defense duty. The XD-M Elite tames that power better than most polymer guns in its class thanks to a full size grip with adaptive texture, a 4.5 inch hammer forged match grade barrel with a Melonite finish, and a captive recoil system that keeps follow-up shots manageable. At around 31 ounces with a 1.2 inch grip width, it carries the heft you want when running full power loads without feeling like a brick.
Springfield's Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly is a big part of why the Elite series shoots so well. The flat face trigger breaks clean with an integral overtravel stop, and it's a genuine step up from typical factory polymer pistol triggers. You also get an ambidextrous slide stop, aggressive front and rear slide serrations, a removable flared magwell for quicker reloads, and a grip safety that adds a layer of security without changing how you shoot. A fiber optic front sight and Tactical Rack U-Dot rear back up the green dot, and the rear sight's profile lets you rack the slide one handed off a belt or table edge if it ever comes to that.
Four magazines means less time loading and more time shooting, and the included RFX11 saves you the cost and hassle of sourcing and mounting an optic yourself. For anyone stepping into 10mm, this is about as complete a starting point as you'll find.
Yes. The Gear Pac ships with a Viridian RFX11 green dot mounted on the slide from the factory, so there's no need to buy plates or mount anything yourself. The slide is also cut for other optics down the road if you ever want to swap.
This package includes four 15-round magazines, which is double what most pistols ship with. That means fewer reloading breaks at the range and plenty of spares for a mag pouch or the range bag.
It's one of the better options out there for it. The 10mm Auto delivers serious energy with a flat trajectory, and the 4.5 inch match grade barrel gets the most out of full power loads. The green dot makes fast, accurate shots easier under pressure, which matters when the target isn't paper.
Yes. The pistol wears a fiber optic front sight and a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear that remain usable alongside the RFX11. The rear sight's squared profile also lets you rack the slide one handed against a belt or hard surface if needed.
