The barrel is threaded for the Benelli/Beretta Mobil choke pattern, which is one of the most common thread systems around. It ships with Cylinder, Modified, and Full tubes, and aftermarket Mobil-pattern chokes in .410 are easy to track down if you want other constrictions.
It loads through a side loading gate on the brass receiver, just like a traditional 1894-style lever rifle. The tubular magazine holds five 2.5 inch shells, and with one in the chamber you have a total of six rounds. Spent hulls eject out the top when you cycle the lever.
