The P365's patented double-stack magazine design delivers 10+1 capacity in a pistol that measures just 5.8 inches long and weighs a hair under 18 ounces. This version adds an ambidextrous manual thumb safety, which is a make-or-break feature for a lot of carriers who grew up on 1911s or just sleep better with a lever between them and the trigger. The lever sits low and snaps off naturally with the firing hand thumb on the draw, and you can still rack the slide with the safety engaged for administrative handling.
The striker-fired trigger is clean and crisp, closer to what you'd expect from a full-size duty gun than a pocket pistol. Up top, the Nitron-coated stainless steel slide wears steel tritium XRAY3 day/night sights, giving you a bright green front dot in daylight and glowing three-dot visibility when the light drops off. The slide is also cut for direct mounting of RMSc-footprint micro red dots, no adapter plate needed, so you can run an optic now or down the road without sending it off for milling. The textured polymer grip module fills the hand well for a gun this size, and the whole package is rated for +P ammunition if that's what you carry.
You get two 10-round steel magazines, one flush-fit for deep concealment and one with an extended baseplate that gives your pinky somewhere to live during longer range sessions. Both drop free cleanly, and higher-capacity factory mags are available separately if you want more on board. Yes. The slide on this model is factory cut for RMSc-footprint micro red dots, so optics like the Sig Romeo Zero, Holosun 507K, or Shield RMSc bolt directly to the slide with no adapter plate. If you'd rather run irons, the included XRAY3 sights are excellent on their own.
It is. There's a lever on both sides of the frame, so lefties are covered. Sweeping it down disengages it, similar to a 1911, and you can still cycle the slide to load or clear the pistol while the safety is engaged.
Yes, this pistol accepts all standard P365 factory magazines. Sig offers 12, 15, and 17-round extended magazines separately, which bump total capacity while adding grip length. The two included 10-rounders keep the gun at its most concealable.
It can. Sig rates the P365 for +P 9mm loads, so you're free to carry hotter defensive ammunition. As with any carry gun, it's smart to run a few boxes of your chosen defensive load through it to confirm reliable feeding before you count on it.
