Take everything Savage learned building the Model 110 over the decades, shrink it down to a 21.5-inch package, and you get the 110 PCS. This is a bolt-action pistol built around Savage's factory blueprinted 110 action, chambered here in .300 AAC Blackout, a cartridge that was practically made for a barrel this length. The 10.5-inch medium-contour carbon steel barrel comes threaded 5/8×24 from the factory, so adding a suppressor or muzzle device takes minutes, and subsonic loads through a can turn this thing into one of the quietest centerfire setups you can put together.
Savage dropped the action into a machined one-piece aluminum chassis from Modular Driven Technologies, finished in Cerakote with a 7-inch free-floating M-LOK forend for bipods, lights, or hand stops. There are barricade grooves milled into the front of the magazine well for shooting off supports, an ambidextrous magazine release feeding AICS-pattern box magazines (one 10-rounder included), and the chassis accepts most AR-15 pistol grips so you can swap in whatever fits your hand. A Picatinny rail at the rear of the chassis gives you an attachment point for accessories, and the one-piece 0 MOA rail up top is ready for a scope or red dot right out of the box.
The bolt setup is clever: it runs on the left side with ejection out the right, so a right-handed shooter can keep their firing hand in place and work the bolt with their support hand. The bolt body is spiral fluted to shave weight and shed grime, and the whole thing is governed by Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which you can tune from 2.5 to 6 pounds with no gunsmith required.
At 5.6 pounds bare, this is a handy rig for hog control, calling predators, blind hunting where a full-size rifle gets awkward, or just ringing steel with subsonics. Compact, accurate, and built around a proven action, it does a lot of things a bigger gun can't.
Yes, the 10.5-inch medium-contour barrel comes threaded 5/8×24 from the factory. That is the standard thread pitch for .30 caliber muzzle devices, so most .30 cal suppressors and brakes will spin right on. Paired with subsonic .300 Blackout loads, this platform is exceptionally quiet suppressed.
It is designed for right-handed use. The left-side bolt with right-side ejection lets you keep your firing hand on the grip while cycling the action with your support hand, which is faster and keeps you on target. It feels a little different at first, but most people warm up to it quickly.
No sights or optic are included. The pistol ships with a one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail on top of the receiver, so mounting a scope, red dot, or LPVO-style optic is quick and simple. Given the .300 Blackout chambering and short barrel, a compact scope or red dot with a magnifier is a popular pairing.
It feeds from AICS-pattern detachable box magazines and includes one 10-round magazine in the box. The AICS pattern is one of the most common precision magazine standards, so spares are easy to find. It also features an ambidextrous magazine release for quick swaps from either side.
