The blued 10.5 inch barrel comes threaded from the factory with a protector cap installed, so adding a muzzle device down the road is simple. Up top you get Williams Fire Sights with a bright fiber optic front that pops in daylight, paired with an adjustable rear so you can dial in your zero. Underneath the barrel sits an integrated Picatinny rail for a light, bipod, or other accessory. The black synthetic grip frame shrugs off weather and keeps the whole package right around 2.5 pounds, light enough to live in a truck, pack, or range box.
The trigger breaks at a clean 2.5 to 3 pounds, which is lighter than what you will find on plenty of pistols costing several times more, and it makes squeezing out tight groups a lot easier. The manual cocking design means the action does not cock until you pull the knob back yourself, and a rebounding firing pin block adds another layer of drop protection. After you chamber a round and close the bolt, the pistol will not fire until you pull the metal cocking knob at the rear of the bolt.
