The heart of this gun is Retay's patented Inertia Plus bolt system, which uses an internal torsion spring to make sure the bolt fully returns to battery every time. Yes, this ACE has a full 3-inch chamber, which is a nice bonus in a 28 gauge. You can run standard 2 3/4 inch target and field loads for clays and doves, then step up to 3-inch loads when you want more payload for pheasants or longer shots.
