Built by Reptilia in partnership with Q, the AUS Direct Mount is designed to do one thing extremely well: put a 35mm optic on The Fix or Mini Fix with the least amount of hardware and height possible. Instead of stacking a Picatinny rail and a set of rings, this mount interfaces directly with the rifle's receiver. That means a lower optic centerline, fewer parts to loosen up, and a rifle that stays sleek and balanced the way Q intended.
The whole design came out of end-user feedback and a couple years of development. By skipping the rail entirely, you eliminate a mounting interface, which is one less thing to shift under recoil. The result is repeatable zero retention and a genuinely rigid platform. It's machined from a single billet of 7075-T6 aluminum, so there are no welds or joints to flex, and it's light enough that you won't feel like your rifle is wearing a backpack up top.
This is the 35mm ring version finished in Flat Dark Earth, which pairs nicely with FDE Fix builds and larger long-range or LPVO glass that runs a 35mm tube. The hard anodize is a MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 coating, which is about as tough as anodizing gets for corrosion and wear resistance. Everything is made in the USA and backed by Reptilia's lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
One of the underrated perks here is the ecosystem. The AUS base works with Reptilia's ROF line of offset and 90-degree red dot mounts, so you can add a backup dot or other gear that ties straight into the same platform instead of hanging adapters off a rail. If you're running a 35mm scope on a Fix and want the cleanest, lowest setup out there, this is the mount to get it done.
