POF builds the P-15 line around details most manufacturers skip. The patented roller cam pin uses a coated roller head that rolls through the cam channel instead of grinding against it, cutting friction and extending the life of the upper receiver. The E2 chamber design vents a small amount of gas around the case to ease extraction, which pays off in a short-barreled gun running hot and fast. The anti-tilt buffer tube cradles the carrier as it cycles, keeping everything running straight and reducing wear over thousands of rounds.
The 10.5 inch barrel is machined from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a black nitride treatment for corrosion resistance, and the 1:8 twist with 5R rifling stabilizes everything from light varmint loads to heavier match bullets. Muzzle threads are the standard 1/2×28, so swapping to your preferred brake, flash hider, or suppressor mount takes minutes.
