The charging handle is non-reciprocating, stays parked forward until you need it, swaps to either side, and pulls double duty as a forward assist. CZ also mirrored the safety, magazine release, and bolt catch on both sides, plus tucked an extra bolt release into the front of the trigger guard. If you have spent time behind an AR, everything lands right where your hands expect it, and it feeds from standard AR-15 magazines so you are not hunting down proprietary mags.
The MS designation means modular, and CZ meant it. The forend swaps to different lengths, and barrels can be changed as well. Out back there is a flush rear plate with a threaded interface that accepts an AR-style buffer tube, so adding a stabilizing brace or cheek rest is a simple bolt-on job. Folding adjustable iron sights come installed, the full-length top rail is ready for whatever optic you prefer, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2×28 for brakes or suppressors.
