Supersonic rounds will produce the usual downrange crack from the bullet itself, but the system still takes the harsh edge off at the shooter's position.
The suppressor module can technically be removed, but the gun was designed and gas-tuned to run with it in place at all times. Think of removal as a maintenance option rather than something you do between range trips. These cans take a very high round count before fouling starts affecting sound performance, so there is rarely a reason to pull it.
This black SBR configuration ships with a Magpul CTR stock on a carbine buffer tube and an ALG Combat trigger. Maxim also builds a variant with their Gen 7 CQB stock if you prefer a shorter PDW-style setup, but the CTR version here gives a familiar carbine feel that suits the gun's overall length nicely.
