The SOCOM series has been riding on military rifles for years, and the RC3 is where SureFire took everything learned from the RC2 and reworked it with serious flow dynamics research. The headline improvement is back pressure. SureFire ran extensive aerospace-grade modeling on this design, and the result is about 60% less toxic gas blowing back at your face compared to the RC2. If you have ever run a tight-baffled can on an AR and caught that eye-watering puff at the charging handle, you know exactly why that matters. Less gas back into the action also means a cleaner bolt carrier group, softer recoil impulse, and a cyclic rate that stays closer to what your rifle was built for.
Construction is high-temp Inconel alloy, the same nickel superalloy used in jet engines, so the RC3 shrugs off heat and high round counts that would beat up lesser suppressors. At 6.43 inches long, 1.5 inches in diameter, and around 17 ounces, it keeps a low profile on a carbine or SBR without turning your rifle into a boat anchor. It only adds about 3.8 inches past the muzzle device, and the Dark Earth Cerakote finish looks right at home on an FDE build. Flash reduction is a strong suit here too, with the RC3 knocking down muzzle flash from the first round through the last.
The RC3 uses SureFire's Fast-Attach quick-detach system and is backward compatible with existing SureFire SOCOM muzzle devices. If you already run SureFire brakes or three-prong flash hiders, this can drops right onto your current setup with a repeatable, rock-solid lockup and minimal, consistent point of impact shift. Mounting and removal take seconds, no tools needed. Keep in mind a SureFire SOCOM muzzle device is required and sold separately.

The RC3 requires a SureFire SOCOM Fast-Attach muzzle device, either a muzzle brake or flash hider, which is sold separately.
