The Magpul MOE AKM Handguard is a direct drop-in replacement for stamped receiver AK-47/AKM/AK-74 pattern rifles with a front sling loop. Magpul engineered this to work with your factory retaining cap without requiring any gunsmith work. The design is straightforward because AKs should be straightforward.
This handguard wraps around your barrel with a thicker, more ergonomic profile than stock wooden or early plastic variants. The gripping surface is noticeably more comfortable during sustained fire.
