Imported by Legacy Sports International, this mag-fed 12 gauge puts the safety, mag release, and pistol grip right where your hands expect them, so there's no relearning muscle memory when you swap from your rifle. The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish gives it a clean, purposeful look that stands apart from the usual sea of black tactical shotguns.
The biggest advantage here is the detachable box magazine. Instead of thumbing shells into a tube one at a time, you drop the empty 5-rounder and slap in a fresh one. Two 5-round mags come in the box, and 10-round magazines are available if you want more on tap. The 3-inch chamber handles both 2-3/4 and 3-inch shells, and the chrome-lined 18.75-inch barrel comes threaded with a muzzle brake already installed to keep the muzzle flat during fast follow-up shots.
A full-length Picatinny rail up top makes mounting a red dot dead simple, and the adjustable folding front and rear sights fold out of the way when you do. The cheek riser on the synthetic stock adjusts to get your eye lined up behind raised optics, and the railed forend gives you real estate for a light or forward grip. Five choke tubes are included, so you can tighten or open your pattern depending on whether you're running buckshot, birdshot, or slugs.
At 8 pounds with a 37.75-inch overall length, the BOSS-25 balances well and soaks up recoil better than lighter scatterguns, helped along by the rubber recoil pad and that brake.
