Instead of letting your pattern blow open the way a standard choke often does with heavy 00 loads, this extended tube uses a conical to parallel internal design that reins the shot back in and keeps more pellets on target downrange. If you shoot buckshot for deer, defense, or predators, that tighter pattern is the difference between a clean hit and a frustrating miss.
The standout feature is the exclusive outward-angled diagonal porting along the extended section. Those ports vent gas as the shot leaves the barrel, which cuts down on felt recoil and muzzle rise. It works well with all buckshot, though copper-plated pellets tend to give the cleanest results. Keep in mind this one is built for lead pellets, not steel shot.
