Hang a heavy can off the end of a .45 pistol and you feel it immediately. The muzzle droops, the slide gets sluggish, and the gun just stops being fun. HUXWRX built the Flow 45 M to fix that. The whole can is 3D-printed from Grade 23 titanium, and at full length it comes in at 8.5 inches and 7.4 ounces. Pull the front module off and you drop to a stubby 6.3 inches and 5.4 ounces in the K configuration. That makes it the lightest two-piece modular .45 suppressor on the market, and the difference on a handgun is night and day compared to older stainless cans.
The other half of the story is what the gas does once it leaves the barrel. Traditional baffle stacks trap pressure and dump a good chunk of it back through the action, which means gassy eyes and a dirtier gun. The Flow 45 M uses the HUXWRX Flow-Through core to vent gases forward and out, cutting back pressure and blowback while keeping your pistol cycling the way it was built to. That pays off big on long range days and on pistol caliber carbines, where blowback is usually at its worst.
Don't let the .45 in the name box it in. This can is rated for 9mm, 10mm, .45 ACP, 400 Legend, .45-70 Gov, and .458 SOCOM, and it's full-auto rated on magazine-fed .45 ACP platforms. It ships with a .578×28 piston and booster assembly for tilting-barrel pistols, and it accepts 3-lug, direct thread, and piston mounts, so moving between a Glock 21, a 10mm hunting pistol, and a big-bore lever gun is a mount swap, not a new tax stamp.
This version wears a C-Series high-temperature Cerakote finish in Flat Dark Earth over the titanium body, with a 1.375 inch diameter that keeps a slim profile over most pistol sights. Light, tough, flexible, and easy on your lungs. Hard combination to beat in a .45 can.
It's rated for 9mm, 10mm, .45 ACP, 400 Legend, .45-70 Gov, and .458 SOCOM, covering projectiles up to .462 inches. It's also full-auto rated on magazine-fed .45 ACP platforms. That range makes it a genuine one-can solution for pistols, PCCs, and big-bore lever guns.
A .578×28 piston and booster assembly comes in the box, so it's ready to go on most .45 ACP pistols with threaded barrels right away. If you want to run it on a different host, it also accepts other pistons, direct thread mounts, and 3-lug mounts sold separately. Keep in mind the booster adds about 2.3 ounces to the listed weights.
Instead of trapping gas in a baffle stack and sending it back through the action, the 3D-printed core routes gases forward and out the front. That means far less blowback in your face, a cleaner gun, and reliable cycling without tuning your pistol or swapping recoil springs. It's especially noticeable on pistol caliber carbines, which tend to be the gassiest hosts.
It's a simple two-piece design, so you just remove the front module to go from the 8.5 inch full setup down to the 6.3 inch K configuration using the included wrench. Run it long when you want maximum sound reduction, or short when balance and maneuverability matter more. An external thread protector is included to cap things off in the short setup.
