Yes. The receiver is grooved for standard 3/8 inch rimfire ringmounts, so mounting a scope or red dot is quick and straightforward. The iron sights stay on the barrel, so you can always go back to the semi-buckhorn setup if you prefer.
It uses a traditional under-barrel tubular magazine rather than a detachable box mag. You pull the inner magazine tube, drop rounds into the loading port, and slide the tube back in. It holds 12 rounds of .22 WMR and feeds smoothly through the lever action.
The .22 WMR (also called .22 Magnum) version delivers noticeably more velocity and downrange energy, which makes it a better pick for small game hunting and pest control at longer distances. The trade-off is a 12-round capacity versus 15 rounds of .22 LR, and magnum ammo costs a bit more per box. If you mostly plink, the LR makes sense; if you work the field, the Magnum earns its keep.
