Grand Power took everything people liked about the 9mm Stribog and scaled it up for the 10mm Auto, and the result is one of the more entertaining large format pistols on the market. The heart of this gun is its roller delayed blowback operating system, which soaks up recoil impulse instead of slamming it back into your hands. That matters a lot with a cartridge as stout as the 10mm. Follow-up shots stay quick, muzzle rise stays manageable, and long range sessions do not leave you beat up.
The upper receiver is machined aircraft grade aluminum mated to a polymer lower, keeping weight sensible without giving up durability. The 8 inch button rifled barrel comes threaded 9/16×24 with a thread protector installed, so mounting a compensator or suppressor is straightforward. Feeding comes from 20 round UMP-pattern magazines, and the trigger group runs mil-spec AR-15 components, which opens the door to a huge aftermarket if you ever want to drop in an upgraded trigger.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety lever, and the non-reciprocating charging handle can be swapped from one side to the other without tools. For mounting gear, you get Picatinny rail at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions plus M-LOK slots at 3 and 9, so red dots, lights, and lasers all have a home. Flip-up iron sights come installed from the factory, meaning the gun is usable the moment you take it out of the box, optic or not.
This version wears a Flat Dark Earth finish that looks sharp and hides wear well. Between the power of the 10mm, the smooth-running roller delayed action, and the modular accessory real estate, the SP10A3 fills a niche few platforms touch. Big bore fans who want subgun handling with genuine 10mm punch will feel right at home here.
Less than you would expect. The SP10A3 uses a roller delayed blowback system rather than simple blowback, which slows and smooths the bolt cycle. Combined with the weight of the aluminum upper, full-power 10mm loads feel noticeably softer than they do out of a standard handgun.

Very much so. The safety lever and other controls are fully ambidextrous, and the charging handle can be moved to either side without any tools. It is one of the more lefty-friendly platforms in this category.
You can. The SP10A3 runs a mil-spec AR-15 pattern trigger group, so most drop-in AR triggers on the market will work. That gives you a massive aftermarket to choose from if the factory trigger is not to your taste.
