Instead of standard forged receivers, the MDX-516 uses milled upper and lower receivers for tighter tolerances and a rock-solid lockup. The 15 inch M-LOK handguard gives you a free-floated barrel and plenty of real estate for lights, lasers, hand stops, or whatever else your setup calls for, with QD points for clean sling mounting. The whole package wears a black Cerakote finish that shrugs off wear and weather, and B5 Systems furniture rounds things out with a comfortable, proven stock.
The muzzle comes threaded 1/2×28 with a flash hider installed, so swapping to a brake or hanging a can on it takes about five minutes and no gunsmithing. Maxim ships the rifle with one 30-round magazine, and since it feeds from standard AR-pattern mags, you can stock up without hunting for anything proprietary.

Since the barrel is free-floated inside the handguard, adding accessories won't affect your accuracy. There's enough usable length for a full C-clamp grip or a stretched-out support hand position.
