The SMART Valve Piston is the heart of this gun's reliability story. It's a self-regulating gas system that automatically adjusts to whatever load you're running, cycling everything from light 2-3/4" shells up through 3" magnum loads. You can even mix heavier and lighter rounds in the tube magazine and the gun won't skip a beat. That kind of versatility matters when you're running .410 for squirrels or small game and the load selection at the local shop is limited. The tube magazine holds 4+1 rounds and includes a migratory plug to drop capacity when needed, plus a magazine cut-off system for single-shot use.
