The Escort BullTac takes a familiar pump-action 12 gauge and wraps it in a bullpup layout, putting the action and magazine behind the trigger. That design keeps the overall length down to just 27.75 inches while still running a full 18-inch barrel, so you get real shotgun performance in a package that's a lot shorter and handier than a traditional pump. At right around 7 pounds, it stays easy to move and swing in tight spaces.
The barrel is chrome-plated steel, proof-tested at the factory, and runs a fixed cylinder choke. That open choke is a smart match for defensive work since it handles both buckshot and slugs without you ever needing to swap tubes. The 3-inch chamber feeds 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells, and the tubular magazine holds 5 rounds for a 5+1 total. A shell deflector kicks spent hulls downward and out of your line of sight.
Up top you get a detachable carry handle with an adjustable rear sight and a fixed front, plus a removable Picatinny optics rail if you'd rather run a red dot. This BullTac model (MPN HEBP121801F1) is a pump action. Escort also builds a separate semi-automatic version of the BullTac, but this exact SKU cycles manually with a forend pump. It runs a tubular magazine for a 5+1 capacity.
