Description
At 7.4 ounces for the body, the Nomad-Ti XC is the lightest .30 caliber suppressor Dead Air has ever built, and you feel that difference the moment you shoulder your rifle. The XC stands for Cross-Country, and the name fits. This is the can you want hanging off your barrel when the truck is three ridges back and every ounce in your pack starts arguing with you. Despite the featherweight build, it carries a full .300 Remington Ultra Magnum rating with a 4400 ft-lb energy ceiling, so it covers everything from a suppressed .300 Blackout plinker to a serious magnum hunting rig.
How the Nomad-Ti XC Earns Its Weight Savings
Dead Air used additive manufacturing to print the baffle core from Grade 5 6Al-4V titanium, which let their engineers build a two-stage coaxial baffle system with pressure-harnessing geometry you simply can't machine the old way. The result is a can that regulates both low and high pressure cartridges well, cuts back pressure, and squeezes more strength and better sound performance out of less material than the original Nomad-Ti. The body runs 6.35 inches and 1.76 inches in diameter, keeping the whole package short enough that it won't turn your hunting rifle into a pool cue. A replaceable front cap and aggressive tooling flats machined into the shell make mounting and maintenance easier down the road.
Nomad-Ti XC Xeno Kit: Ready Out of the Box
This silver version wears a raw titanium satin bead-blasted finish and ships as a complete kit with the Xeno quick-detach adapter and a 5/8×24 DA124 Omni Brake. Thread the brake onto your muzzle, spin the can on, and you're set, with the Xeno giving you fast, repeatable on-and-off between rifles. Since the rear is a standard HUB socket with 1.375×24 threads, you can swap to KeyMo or a direct thread mount later if your setup changes. For bolt guns and semi-autos where weight and sound reduction both matter, this one is tough to beat.

Frequently Asked Questions
What calibers can the Nomad-Ti XC handle?
It has a .30 caliber bore and is rated up to .300 Remington Ultra Magnum with a 4400 ft-lb energy ceiling. That covers just about everything a .30 cal hunter or precision shooter would run, including .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .300 Win Mag, .300 BLK, and 5.56 with the right barrel length. It is not rated for full auto fire.
How does the Xeno adapter mount work?
The Xeno is a quick-detach system that locks the suppressor onto a Xeno-compatible muzzle device, in this case the included 5/8×24 DA124 Omni Brake. Once the brake is torqued onto your barrel, the can spins on and off in seconds with repeatable alignment. It's a great setup if you plan to move the suppressor between rifles.
Can I run the Nomad-Ti XC direct thread instead of using the Xeno?
Yes. The rear of the can uses the industry-standard HUB pattern with 1.375×24 threads, so you can swap the Xeno adapter for a direct thread mount, KeyMo, or other HUB-compatible adapters. That modularity is one of the biggest strengths of the Nomad XC line.
How much lighter is the Nomad-Ti XC compared to other .30 cal cans?
The body alone weighs 7.4 ounces, which makes it Dead Air's lightest .30 caliber suppressor. Even with the Xeno adapter installed it comes in at 9.7 ounces, while many full-size .30 cal cans run well past a pound. The 3D-printed Grade 5 titanium construction is what makes those numbers possible without giving up strength.
