Most suppressor buyers end up wishing they'd bought one can that could do more. The CMMG Zeroed 36 solves that problem before it starts. This is a .36 caliber suppressor that's overbuilt by both pistol and rifle standards, which means it runs happily on a 9mm handgun, a blowback PCC, a 5.56 carbine, a 300 Blackout SBR, or a bolt gun in 8.6 BLK or 350 Legend. That's a lot of ground for a single tax stamp to cover.
CMMG makes these entirely in-house using a tubeless, laser-welded 17-4 stainless steel baffle stack, then finishes the whole thing in a surface-hardening nitride treatment. That finish shrugs off corrosion and makes cleanup simple, so you can soak it in nearly any solvent or drop it in an ultrasonic cleaner without babying it. The construction earns a full-auto rating, with cooling breaks recommended around every 240 rounds. At 6.5 inches long, 1.58 inches in diameter, and about 17 ounces, it has some heft to it, but that weight is exactly what lets it eat rifle-pressure cartridges and heavy range sessions without complaint.
The rear of the can uses the industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB pattern, and CMMG includes two direct thread mounts in the box, one in 1/2×28 and one in 5/8×24. That covers the vast majority of threaded pistol and rifle barrels right out of the gate, and if you already run a favorite QD system, just swap in any HUB-pattern mount you like. The included mounts have 7/8 inch wrench flats, and the welded front end cap has a 3/8 inch square drive, so mount changes and maintenance take common tools instead of proprietary gadgets.
On 9mm and big-bore subsonics like 8.6 BLK, this can has plenty of internal volume and sounds excellent. On higher pressure rounds like 5.56 and .308, it still keeps things comfortable at the ear. If you want one suppressor that moves between hosts instead of a safe full of dedicated cans, this is a smart place to start.

For a Browning-style tilting barrel handgun, you'd want to add a compatible HUB piston system. On carbines and rifles it threads straight on and runs.
