Big-bore fans, this one was built with you in mind. The Zeroed Banshee MkG takes CMMG's proven .45 ACP platform and reworks it around one idea: a compact AR pistol that is set up for quiet shooting from the first shot. Since most .45 ACP loads run subsonic straight out of the box, the caliber is a natural fit here. The 6.5 inch black nitride threaded barrel sits deep inside an oversized 10 inch M-LOK handguard, and CMMG includes a Zeroed faux suppressor that tucks underneath it, so the whole package has that clean, integrated look right out of the case. When you are ready to hang a real can on it, the handguard has the clearance to shroud most modern suppressors, and the included silicone SD covers pop into the M-LOK slots to keep your support hand comfortable when things heat up.
Under the hood is CMMG's Radial Delayed Blowback operating system, the same design that made the original MkG a favorite among pistol caliber fans. Instead of relying on a heavy bolt and stiff buffer like straight blowback guns, the rotating bolt delays the action mechanically, which takes a lot of the punch out of .45 ACP and keeps the gun flatter through strings of fire. Feeding comes from Glock-pattern .45 ACP magazines, so spare mags are easy to find, and a 13 round magazine comes in the box.
CMMG did not skimp on the touchpoints either. Every Zeroed Banshee gets the full kit of Zeroed parts: an ambidextrous charging handle, 60/90 ambi safety selector, single-stage drop-in trigger, and the Zeroed pistol grip. The six-position RipBrace deploys fast with a quick pull, and the Tungsten Cerakote over the aluminum receivers gives it a sharp gray finish that stands out from the usual sea of black rifles. A full-length Picatinny top rail leaves plenty of room for your optic, and CMMG backs the whole thing with their Lifetime Quality Guarantee.
This version ships with a Zeroed faux suppressor that tucks under the oversized handguard, so you get the integrated suppressed look without one installed. It doubles as a placeholder until you mount a can of your own on the threaded barrel. CMMG also sells variants with a factory Zeroed suppressor already fitted if you want the complete package.
It feeds from Glock-pattern .45 ACP magazines, the same ones used by the Glock 21. A 13-round magazine is included, and since Glock-pattern mags are widely available and affordable, stocking up on spares is easy.
CMMG's Radial Delayed Blowback uses a rotating bolt to mechanically delay the action instead of relying on heavy reciprocating mass like a straight blowback gun. That means a lighter bolt carrier and buffer, noticeably softer recoil, and quicker follow-up shots. It is a big part of why the MkG platform earned its reputation with .45 ACP.
The oversized handguard was designed specifically to shroud a suppressor, and it clears most modern cans on the market. Keep in mind that M-LOK accessories mounted in slots directly over a tucked suppressor will eat into that clearance, so plan your accessory layout accordingly. The included silicone covers help protect your hand from heat during longer sessions.
