Most of us don't have room in the safe for a dedicated trap gun, a skeet gun, and a pheasant gun. The Cynergy CX Composite was built for exactly that reality. Browning set this one up with a 60/40 point of impact, which is flat enough to run sporting clays and skeet all summer, has a touch of built-in rise for trap, and still swings naturally on flushing roosters come October. The 28 inch barrels with 3 inch chambers keep it balanced between range days and field miles, and the charcoal gray composite stock with textured grip panels shrugs off the rain, mud, and truck-bed abuse that would make a walnut stock cry.
The heart of this gun is the MonoLock Hinge, which merges the monobloc and hinge into one piece with far more bearing surface than a traditional trunnion setup. That is what lets Browning build the receiver so low, and a low receiver means less muzzle flip and a gun that points like an extension of your hands. The Reverse Striker ignition system gives you a mechanical trigger with a clean break, short lock time, and minimal overtravel, so barrel two is right there when you need it. Impact ejectors kick fired hulls clear with authority, while unfired shells simply lift for easy removal.
An adjustable comb lets you tweak cheek weld until your eye lines up dead center down the vent rib, and a quarter inch stock spacer gives you room to fine tune length of pull. Dual ivory beads make target alignment second nature, and the Inflex recoil pad takes real sting out of long practice sessions. Back-bored barrels, Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones, and chrome-lined chambers round out the package with better patterns, softer felt recoil, and easier cleanup.
With three Invector-Plus choke tubes covering full, modified, and improved cylinder, plus a top-tang barrel selector and safety, the Cynergy CX Composite arrives ready to go from box to break house. It is a genuine crossover gun that earns its keep year round.
That is the whole idea behind the CX line. The 60/40 point of impact splits the difference between a flat-shooting sporting gun and a high-shooting trap gun, so it handles trap, skeet, sporting clays, and upland hunting without feeling out of place at any of them. The 28 inch barrels keep the swing smooth on clays while staying manageable in the field.
It lets you raise or lower where your cheek sits on the stock so your eye lines up perfectly down the rib. Proper eye alignment is everything with a shotgun, since your eye is essentially the rear sight. Combined with the included stock spacer for length of pull, you can get a near custom fit without a trip to a stock fitter.

Browning integrated the monobloc and hinge into a single design with up to 300 percent more pivot surface area than traditional trunnion-style hinges, which spreads wear and keeps the action tight over the long haul.
