Under the hood you get the good stuff Browning is known for. Back-bored barrels and Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones ease the shot column along for softer felt recoil and more uniform patterns, and the barrel porting helps tame muzzle jump so your second shot on doubles comes back on target quicker. Three extended Invector-Plus Midas grade choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder cover everything from 16 yard singles to close crossers. Chrome plated chambers shrug off the wear that tens of thousands of shells can put on a lesser gun, and the proven Citori lockup, a full width tapered locking bolt riding on a full length hinge pin, is famous for staying tight over a lifetime of round after round.
The Grade II American walnut Monte Carlo stock wears a gloss finish with crisp 18 LPI checkering, and it sits against a high polish blued steel receiver dressed up with a gold CXT logo. An Inflex recoil pad takes the sting out of long practice days, and the Triple Trigger system lets you swap between three trigger shoe profiles to dial in your ideal finger position. At a nominal 8 pounds 8 ounces with a 14 3/8 inch length of pull, it swings with the steady, deliberate feel trap guns should have. This 32 inch model runs a nominal 8 pounds 8 ounces. That weight is a feature for a target gun since it smooths out your swing and soaks up recoil over long practice sessions. Combined with the ported, back-bored barrels and Inflex recoil pad, it stays comfortable through high volume days.
