This model ships with one 10-round single-stack magazine. Extra factory Buck Mark magazines are widely available and worth picking up, since range sessions go a lot smoother with two or three loaded and ready.
The straight blowback action runs best with standard and high-velocity .22 LR, which covers most bulk-pack ammo on the shelf. Like any rimfire, some loads will group better than others, so it pays to try a few brands and see what your particular barrel favors. Subsonic and match ammo generally cycle fine too, though very light target loads can occasionally be sluggish in any blowback .22.
