There are plenty of .380 pistols out there, but most of them are tiny blowback guns that snap in your hand and fight you on every slide rack. The Browning 1911-380 takes a different route. It shrinks John Browning's 1911 design down to about 85 percent of the original .45 ACP size and runs a true locked-breech, tilting barrel action, so the recoil spring is lighter and the slide is genuinely easy to work.
