Bravo Company has earned its reputation by refusing to cut corners, and the RECCE-9 QRF shows it. The 9 inch USGI-profile barrel is made from independently certified 11595E steel, the same material spec used in the M16 family, with a chrome-lined bore and chamber and a 1:7 twist that stabilizes everything from lightweight supersonics to heavy 220 grain subsonics. Receivers are machined from forged 7075-T6 aluminum and hardcoat anodized, the bolt is machined from Carpenter 158 steel and both high-pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected, and the pistol-length gas system keeps the compact setup cycling reliably. A BCM Mod 1 7.62 compensator caps the muzzle to help tame the snap you get from a short .300 BLK.

You will need to swap the compensator for a suppressor mount or thread your can directly, and as with most short-barreled ARs, expect to fine-tune ammo selection for the best cycling when suppressed.
Yes. The .300 Blackout was designed to feed from standard AR-15 magazines and use a standard 5.56 bolt, which is part of the cartridge's appeal. One 30-round magazine ships with the pistol. Just be careful to keep your .300 BLK and 5.56 ammo strictly separated, since a .300 BLK round will chamber in a 5.56 barrel with dangerous results.
BCM builds this pistol out with its own Gunfighter line rather than basic mil-spec furniture.
