Finishing out a stripped lower usually means chasing down a handful of small parts one at a time. The BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 Stock Kit skips all that. It bundles BCM's proven polymer stock with a complete mil-spec carbine buffer stack, so you can bolt everything on, torque your castle nut, and call the back half of your rifle done. It's finished in Flat Dark Earth to round out your FDE build cleanly.
The Gunfighter Mod 0 stock itself is built from a strong, lightweight polymer meant to run on any mil-spec receiver extension. The shape is snag-free with no sharp edges, which keeps the rifle from catching on your sling, plate carrier, or gear when you're moving or transitioning positions. There's an integrated, color-matched rubber butt pad that keeps the stock planted on your shoulder and adds a little extra durability where it counts.
Sling options are where this stock really earns its keep. You get two different ambidextrous sling mounting methods, including QD swivel sockets, plus the modular VBOST (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab). That tab lets you loop a ranger band or bungee to pin your sling tight against the stock when the rifle is slung inside a vehicle or set down. It's a small feature that makes a real difference if you spend time working around trucks or tight spaces.
Because it's a complete kit, you're not guessing on parts. It ships with the stock, a BCM 7075-T6 mil-spec receiver extension, an M4 locking castle nut, a mil-spec carbine action spring, a carbine buffer, and BCM's QD swivel mount end plate. The whole stock breaks down to just a few parts and a single screw, which makes future swaps and configuration changes painless. Grab a castle nut wrench and you're ready to build.
It's the complete kit. Along with the Gunfighter Mod 0 stock, you get the 7075-T6 mil-spec receiver extension, carbine buffer, action spring, castle nut, and QD swivel mount end plate. Everything from the receiver extension back is in the box, so you can finish a stripped lower without sourcing extra small parts.
It's designed for standard mil-spec AR-platform lower receivers that are threaded for a mil-spec carbine buffer tube. Since the kit includes its own receiver extension, you just need a stripped or partially built lower and the right tools. Commercial-spec setups use a different diameter tube and won't match this kit.
A castle nut (armorer's) wrench is the main one, and a torque wrench is smart for getting the castle nut set correctly. Once the nut is torqued, staking it is good practice to keep it from backing off under recoil. Beyond that, installation is straightforward and the stock itself slides right onto the tube.
You get two ambidextrous sling mounting methods, including QD swivel sockets, plus the included QD swivel mount end plate for another attachment point. There's also the modular VBOST tab, which lets you use a ranger band or bungee to secure your sling against the stock when the rifle isn't in use. That flexibility works well for right- or left-handed shooters and vehicle setups.
