There are commemorative pistols, and then there are guns that actually mean something — the Auto-Ordnance United We Stand 1911 falls squarely in the second category. Built 100% in the United States, this special edition is more than a display piece. It starts life as a solid stainless steel 1911 platform and gets the full treatment: Black Armor Cerakote finish with a clear topcoat, a 5-inch match-grade barrel chambered in .45 ACP, and a feature set that puts it well above standard production guns.
The internals are genuinely impressive for what this pistol is. You get an adjustable trigger, skeletonized hammer, full-length recoil guide rod, extended beavertail grip safety, extended magazine release, and a checkered slide stop lever. The ejection port is flared for reliable feeding and extraction, and both the front strap and mainspring housing are machined with 20 lines-per-inch checkering for a serious grip texture. TruGlo night sights are fitted from the factory, so low-light use is covered right out of the box.
The commemorative engraving is the part that sets this one apart on the shelf. The slide is engraved with Matthew 12:25 on one side and "United We Stand" on the other. The custom aluminum grips are engraved with "In God We Trust" and feature a depiction of clasped hands — a tribute to national unity. Because the engraving is hand-created, no two pistols are exactly alike, and minor variations in appearance between individual units are part of what makes each one unique.
This is a pistol for the 1911 enthusiast who wants something with meaning behind it, whether that's a range gun, a collector piece, or both. It ships with one 7-round magazine.
It is genuinely both. The pistol is built on a fully functional stainless steel 1911 platform with a match-grade barrel, adjustable trigger, flared ejection port, and TruGlo night sights — none of which are features you'd put on a safe queen. That said, the hand-engraved slide and custom aluminum grips make it a standout collector item as well. Many buyers will shoot it regularly and display it with equal pride.
The slide is engraved with the Bible verse Matthew 12:25 on one side and the phrase "United We Stand" on the other. The custom aluminum grips are engraved with "In God We Trust" and feature imagery of clasped hands representing national unity. Because the engraving is hand-done, there can be minor cosmetic variations from one pistol to the next.
The United We Stand 1911 comes fitted with TruGlo night sights from the factory. TruGlo is a well-regarded brand in the sight industry, and their tritium-based night sights give you a clear, glowing sight picture in low-light conditions without any batteries or activation required.
The United We Stand 1911 ships with one 7-round stainless steel magazine. Standard 1911 single-stack .45 ACP magazines from reputable brands like Wilson Combat, Chip McCormick, or Mec-Gar are compatible if you want to pick up additional mags.
Yes, the Auto-Ordnance United We Stand 1911 is manufactured entirely in the United States. Auto-Ordnance has a long history of domestic production, and this particular model carries that tradition as part of its patriotic theme.
The United We Stand 1911 comes with an adjustable trigger and skeletonized hammer for a cleaner, more customized feel than standard production 1911s. The front strap and mainspring housing are both machined with 20 lines-per-inch checkering, and an extended beavertail grip safety is included for better hand control and comfort under recoil.
