The Arisaka Defense Vertical Grip is proof that a foregrip doesn't have to be big to earn its spot on your rail. This is a stubby, all-metal grip built for people who want a little extra leverage and a positive index point without a chunky polymer grip getting in the way. It stands about 2.5 inches tall and 1.3 inches wide, so it gives you enough to wrap a couple fingers around and drive the gun, but stays out of the way when you're running mag changes or working around barriers.
Everything here is CNC machined from 6061-T651 billet aluminum and finished with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hardcoat anodize, which is the same tough finish you'll find on quality rails and mounts. The top has a radiused profile that tapers right into the handguard surface, so it sits flush and looks like it was made to be there. The base is hollowed out to shave weight, which is how Arisaka got this down to just 1.8 ounces. Folks who put these on tend to notice the machining and lockup quality right away, and a lot of them come back for more to outfit their other builds.
This one attaches directly to M-LOK slots using twin mounting screws, and the two-point setup is a big part of why it stays put where single-stud grips can rotate or work loose. It ships with two M-LOK nuts and two 10-24 hex cap screws, so the hardware is in the box. You'll need a 5/32 inch Allen wrench to snug it down, and that isn't included. The grip body is hollow with an open end, so there's no end cap to deal with.
It pairs well with AR-15 builds, PCCs, and even AK handguards running M-LOK, and it leaves room for extended magazines. Whether you run it as a traditional vertical grip or use it more like a hand stop to pull the gun into your shoulder, it does the job and looks clean doing it.
It's built for any M-LOK compatible handguard, so it works across AR-15 rails, PCC builds, and M-LOK equipped AK handguards. The twin-screw mounting spans two slots for a solid, rotation-free hold. Just make sure you've got two open M-LOK slots in a row where you want it positioned.
The mounting hardware is included, so you get two M-LOK nuts and two hex cap screws in the box. You will need to supply your own 5/32 inch Allen wrench, since that isn't packed with the grip. Most people already have one in their range bag or gun bench.

Absolutely. Its short 2.5 inch height makes it just as useful as a hand stop or barricade support as it is a traditional vertical grip. Many folks run it forward and pull the rifle into the shoulder rather than gripping it straight on, and it handles both styles well.
