Anechoic builds this can from Grade 5 STA 1000 titanium with 17-4 H900 stainless steel in the blast chamber and blast baffles, which is exactly where you want the tougher steel taking the abuse of muzzle pressure and heat. Inside, the X-Baffle Anechoic Chamber System uses an interrupted central tube to strip gas and noise, delivering up to 32 dB of sound reduction along with a real cut in felt recoil. The Cerakote C Series ceramic finish in Flat Dark Earth shrugs off heat and weather, so it looks right at home on a hunting rig that sees rain, dust, and truck beds.
A 5/8×24 direct thread adapter comes installed, and the rear of the can uses the industry standard 1-3/8×24 mounting pattern. That opens the door to HUB mounts, pistons, boosters, tri-lugs, and quick detach systems, so one suppressor can move across your whole safe. It fully disassembles for cleaning, which matters if you plan on running dirty pistol ammo through it, and Anechoic backs it with a lifetime warranty. It also ships with a standard Flow-Cap plus a caliber specific Quiet Cap, letting you tune the front end to the gun you are running that day. You can. It is fully user serviceable and disassembles for cleaning, which is a big plus if you shoot a lot of dirty .45 ACP through it. That serviceability, combined with the titanium and stainless construction, is a big part of why Anechoic backs it with a lifetime warranty.
That is normal for titanium cans. During the first 100 rounds or so, tiny bits of titanium raised during machining burn off and can show up as sparks downrange. It tapers off as the can breaks in and is nothing to worry about.
