Marble Arms has been turning out quality iron sights out of Gladstone, Michigan since 1892, and the 57W front sight carries on that reputation. This is the .570" tall model, measured from the top of the bead down to the bottom of the dovetail, which makes it one of the taller options in the barrel-mounted lineup. That extra height comes in handy when you need to bring your point of impact down or you're pairing it with a taller rear or tang peep sight. The 1/16" gold bead catches light well and gives you a fine, precise aiming point that works great in decent shooting conditions.
Everything Marble makes is all steel and all American, and this sight is no exception. The body is machined steel with that signature contoured blade that slopes toward the muzzle, which is both a nice classic look and a functional shape that cuts glare. The gold bead, sometimes called a Pope's Island bead, is a proven choice for hunters and target shooters who want something brighter than plain steel but still fine enough for careful work.
