The smooth front strap is the flat grip option that comes standard on every ZRODelta MODULUS Compact. It's designed to work seamlessly with the modular aluminum frame, offering a clean, unadorned surface for control during shooting.
This front strap comes standard on the MODULUS Compact as delivered from the factory. The flat surface provides a straightforward grip option that works well for most hand sizes and shooting styles. Whether you're customizing your Compact or building from the ground up, this piece slots into the aluminum frame's precision-machined T-slot with zero slop thanks to ZRODelta's tight tolerances.
One of the strengths of the MODULUS design is how simple it is to swap components. The smooth front strap slides up onto the matching rail on the grip module and then gets secured when you install your choice of magazine well. No tools required, no gunsmithing needed. If you decide later that you prefer the finger-grooved version or want to switch back, it's genuinely a two-minute job. This flexibility is what makes the MODULUS modular system work so well in practice.
Like all MODULUS components, this front strap is precisely machined to fit perfectly with the rest of the system. You won't find any gaps or play between this strap and the frame. The fit and finish are designed to match the quality standards ZRODelta built into every other part of their modular platform.
The smooth front strap is designed for the MODULUS system and will fit the aluminum frame on any MODULUS configuration. All MODULUS models use the same modular frame with interchangeable front straps, so compatibility is universal across the Compact, Duty, and Extended slides.
Installation is straightforward and requires no tools. Simply slide the front strap onto the T-slot rail on your grip module, then install your magazine well choice to secure everything in place. The whole process takes a minute or two.
The smooth version is a flat surface, while the finger groove variant has grooves positioned for finger placement. The choice comes down to personal preference and hand size. Many users find the smooth option versatile for various hand sizes, and switching between them is quick and tool-free if you want to try both.
Yes, this is the factory-standard smooth front strap included with every ZRODelta MODULUS Compact. It's the same precision-machined component you get in the box with a new Compact pistol.
